Your Treatment Journey

1

Consultation & History

We'll start by discussing your problem in detail — what's bothering you, how it started, and what may have caused it. Doc Muli will take a thorough history to understand whether this is a chronic issue or an acute injury, which helps determine the best treatment approach.

2

Assessment & Examination

Next, Doc Muli will perform a hands-on examination of the affected area, checking for:

  • Joint issues — Is anything stuck, fixated, or out of place?
  • Muscle tension — Which muscles are distressed or harbor trigger points?
  • Range of motion — Any limitations or pain with movement?

Depending on your condition, orthopedic tests may also be performed. Throughout, Doc Muli will explain what he's finding as he goes.

3

Full-Body Treatment (Face Up)

Treatment follows a systematic approach, starting with you lying face up. Even if your pain is in your shoulder or neck, we begin by addressing the foundation:

  • Feet & ankles — The base of your structure
  • Knees — Checking alignment and function
  • Hips — Critical for spinal alignment
  • Neck (initial palpation) — Gentle assessment

Why start from the bottom? If your lower body or pelvis is off, it affects everything above it — especially the neck. Treating only where it hurts often doesn't hold.

4

Pelvis & Spine Treatment (Face Down)

You'll turn face down so Doc Muli can address your pelvis and spine:

  • Pelvis alignment — Making sure your hip bones are level (correcting what Doc Muli's mentor called "TBS" — twisted butt syndrome)
  • Spinal adjustments — Using drop table or instrument adjusting (rarely traditional "cracking")
  • Gluteal & spinal muscles — Releasing tension and trigger points

A heated thumper tool may be used for deep muscle work — patients love how relaxing this feels.

5

Ribcage Work (Side Position)

You'll be positioned on your side — like sleeping — so Doc Muli can address the ribcage. This is a unique feature of his approach:

Many mid-back and shoulder problems originate from distressed ribcage joints. Your arms attach to your trunk through the ribcage, so every time you lift or move your arms, it creates stress there. By releasing the ribs, the neck muscles naturally relax as well.

If your chief complaint involves the shoulder, this is when Doc Muli will give extra attention to the rotator cuff and shoulder muscles.

6

Finishing: Neck & Chief Complaint

Finally, you'll turn face up again for the finishing work:

  • Neck treatment — Now that the foundation is stable, neck work holds much better
  • Chief complaint focus — Any remaining attention needed for your primary issue

Throughout treatment, Doc Muli pays attention to how your body responds — and how you're experiencing it — to calibrate the right level of care for you.

Chiropractic Meets Massage: "Chirosage"

Some patients describe Doc Muli's work as "chirosage" — a combination of chiropractic adjustments and therapeutic massage integrated into one treatment.

This means you get both skeletal alignment AND muscle release in every session, addressing pain from multiple angles for better, longer-lasting results.

Techniques Used:

  • Drop table adjusting
  • Instrument adjusting
  • Gentle hands-on techniques
  • Heated thumper for muscle release
  • AMIT (Advanced Muscle Integration)

What Makes Doc Muli Different

Root Cause Focus

Instead of just treating where it hurts, Doc Muli identifies what's actually causing your pain — often in a completely different area of your body.

Whole-Body Approach

The systematic checklist method ensures nothing is missed. Your feet affect your knees, your pelvis affects your spine, your ribs affect your neck.

Gentle Techniques

Doc Muli rarely uses traditional "cracking" adjustments. Drop table and instrument adjusting are gentler and often more effective — especially for new patients.

Treatment Starts Day One

No "exam only" first visits. You'll receive actual treatment during your initial appointment and often feel improvement before you leave.

How to Prepare
